To help reach our students, we offer a wide variety of unique classes for children and adults.
Children Class Descriptions
Tiny Tots Level |
Children 18 mths-3 years. Explore the joy of music and movement with your child. |
Kindersteps |
Children 3-4 years. This class is an enjoyable introduction to music and movement. |
Storytime Ballet |
Children 4-6 years. This class magically brings the classic tales, old and new, to life with music, props, costumes and lots of imagination. |
Pre-Ballet |
Children 4-6 years. Students will learn the elementary positions, exercises and ballet terminology. |
Pre-Ballet/Jazz |
Children 4-6 years. Students will learn the basic ballet/jazz techniques and terminology. |
Pre-Ballet/Tap |
Children 4-6 years. Students will develop the basic ballet technique and the rhythmic skills of elementary tap. |
Pre-Jazz/Tap |
Children 4-6 years. Students will learn the basic jazz technique and the skills of elementary tap. |
Ballet Levels 1-4 |
Children 6 & up. Students will learn barre work, center floor and traveling exercises. Emphasis is on body alignment, musicality and terminology. Classes are graded by age and ability. |
Pre-Pointe & Pointe |
Enrollment is by permission of the instructor. |
Tap Levels 1-5 |
Children 6 & up. These classes are graded by age and ability, with concentration on the basic exercises, precision and strong rhythmic skills. |
Jazz Levels 1-4 |
Children 6 & up. These classes focus on developing strong lines and understanding the body’s center of movement. Classes are graded by age and ability. |
Pre-Jazz & Tap (4 - 6 years) |
Students will learn the basic jazz technique along with the rhythmic skills of elementary tap. |
Theater Dance |
Children 12 & up. This class is an introduction to musical theater. It features choreography to music from different Broadway shows. |
Hip Hop |
Children 6 & up. Two fast paced, high energy forms of dance that are popular in current music videos. No dance experience required. |
Competition Teams /Dance Camps |

Students are invited to participate in the year end recital & audition for WWPDC productions. |
