Dress Code and Shoe Requirements
September 2010-June 2011
In order for the teachers to ensure proper placement and technique, students
must be dressed properly to dance. If your child is not in the appropriate
attire they will not be able to take their class.

Any type pink leather ballet slipper, black leotard (no skirts), and pink tights. Hair must be in a bun or tied back. |
Pre Ballet & |
Any type pink leather ballet slipper, black leotard (no skirts), pink tights. Hair must be in a bun or tied back. |
Pre Jazz & |
Any type pink leather ballet slipper, black leotard (no skirts), pink tights. Hair must be in a bun or tied back. |
Pre Tap |
Any type black tap shoe and pink leather ballet slipper, black leotard (no skirts), pink tights. Hair must be in a bun or tied back. |
Ballet 1-4 |
Pink leather split sole ballet slipper, black leotard (no skirts), and pink tights. Hair must be in a bun. |
Pre Pointe & Pointe |
Any type Pointe shoe. Thin elastic preferred. (must have instructor's approval to join pointe class) |
Jazz 1-4, Hip Hop, & Street Jazz |
Black leather split sole slip on jazz boot (black hip hop sneakers are acceptable but not necessary for hip hop and Street Jazz), black shorts or jazz pants with only a Dance Corner/WWPDC tee shirt, black leotard or black camisole. Hair must be tied back. |
Theater Dance |
Black leather split sole slip on jazz boot, black dance shorts or jazz pants, with only a Dance Corner/WWPDC tee shirt, black leotard or black camisole. Hair must be tied back. |
Tap 1-3 |
Tan buckle tap shoe with low heel, black dance shorts or jazz pants, with only a Dance Corner/WWPDC tee shirt, black leotard or black camisole. Hair must be tied back. |
Tap 4-5 |
Black lace up tap shoes, black dance shorts or jazz pants, with only a Dance Corner/WWPDC tee shirt, black leotard or black camisole. Hair must be tied back. |
Adults |
No dress code required. |
| No jewelry, gum, skirts or tutus in class. No Food. Pre-school students are not permitted to leave studio until parent arrives. |

Shoe requirements will be announced after classes begin. Please wear any shoes that you have that fit until we have determined what type and brand of shoe will be the best with the song/costume that is selected for each team. |

Attendance
Classes that are missed may be made up in another class of similar level. Missed classes cannot be carried over to the next session.
Inclement Weather
A message will be left on the school answering machine when classes are to be cancelled.
