Why an Elite Team?
To address the needs of those dancers who would like
performance and competition opportunities, we have formed The
Dance Corner Elite Team. We have found, in most
cases, dancers who do want to perform, want to do more than a recital.
For the studio to effectively provide these opportunities, we must have
a dedicated group of dancers that will stay together and are willing to
perform.
Dancers are separated by age, on-stage appearance, and choreography requirements.
Routines for the Teams will be based on the individual make-up of each
team, but each dancer will perform one routine per class.
By making a commitment to The Dance Corner
Elite Team and your fellow Team members, we
are better able to provide a variety of performance opportunities. Team
members have found the joy of dance as a performing art and understand
the level of commitment and dedication necessary to be their best!

Results from our StarQuest Performance
Our Elite team danced their way to the best results in Dance Corner competition team history at the StarQuest Regional Dance Competition in Voorhees, NJ on Friday April 30 through Sunday May 2. Highlights of the competition include two top five finishes and special awards for “Distinguished Costume” (Walk the Dinosaur – Petite Jazz Team) and “Terrific Tapper” (Jordan P). Our team competed with 26 dance schools from DE, PA, NY, and NJ.
We would like to thank all of our competitors for the hours of diligent preparation and their outstanding performances. They are all winners. We also appreciate our teachers - Miss Tammy, Miss Kristen, and Miss Roni, for putting together some artistic and innovative choreography, costumes and working with our team to bring out their best. Miss Amy spent hours organizing to be sure that everyone was entered properly, costumes were ordered on time and even arranging special times for competitors. Of course, none of this would be possible without the tremendous support our dancers get from their families. Thank you, too.
