Modern dance utilizes the full body to express abstract themes in music. This class will focus on strength, control, and the ability to utilize shifts in body weight and position to convey a message. This is an appropriate class for older dancers who are looking to learn or reinforce the basic elements of modern dance. Adult/teen classes may choose to perform in the annual recital. Registration is offered as a standard (year) offering or on a drop-in basis.

Any sort of leotard/t shirt and jazz pants/athletic pants.
Hair must be tied back off of the face.

An audition only team that competes at regional and national dance competitions.
