The Dance Corner Elite Competition Team is an audition only group of serious dancers who have chosen to train at a more intensive level in order to compete against peers from other studios. Elite Team dancers are selected for their skill, dedication, and team-oriented attitudes.
Competition experiences provide a unique opportunity for more serious dancers to grow their technique through more intensive training, frequent feedback, and targeted skill development. Additionally, competition experiences provide dancers with a venue in which to take positive risks, build confidence, learn from feedback, foster resilience, and enhance determination. Most importantly, being part of the Elite Team allows TDC dancers a chance to build strong, life long bonds with peers through shared experiences, passions, and memories. The Elite Team members are leaders and role models within the studio and the relationships built between older and younger dancers help to foster the feeling of family that The Dance Corner prides itself on.
